Payment:
25% deposit payment to confirm the reservation.
Rest payment latest on departure.
Payment possibilities:
Bank transfer. Debit card (charge 1%). Credit card (charge 4%)
Minumum stay:
2 nights in double rooms and 3 nights in the apartment
Cancellation policy:
We have a very small number of rooms and therefor are trying to find a good balance for a cancellation policy that is flexible enough for our guests if they have changing circumstances and for us to be able to accept new bookings:
- More than 2 weeks before arrival: Free
- Between 2 and 1 week before arrival: 50%
- Within 1 week of arrival: 80%
- Reduction of the minimum stay of 2 nights in double rooms and 3 nights in the apartment at any time after the booking: 50% of the reduced capacity
Should we be able to receive a new booking for the same period and capacity cancelled, we are happy to pay back the cancellation fee.
Children:
We do welcome families but do ask you kindly for your understanding that we would like to match your vacation days first with existing bookings. We want to make sure that guests who come for peace and quiet are not disturbed and that kids who want to have fun feel free to do so without being hushed to be quiet all the time. We therefor do our best to carefully match the stays and let everyone enjoy the place.
For family bookings with kids under 14 the final confirmation will be sent within 24 hours of receiving your booking request.

Pets:
In order to protect any of our guests that may have allergies we are not accommodating pets on the property. We thank you for your understanding.
Smoking:
La Montagnola Retreat is a non-smoking house.
Damages:
We do assume that you take care as we do when staying in our home. Responsiblity and liability for any damage caused by our guests stays with them. Please do report any damage that occurred. We normally are not charging for smaller damages, but may ask you to cover charges if the damage is severe. Lets talk please.
